Dahréntråd, LWW Slaska and Isodraht unite as Dahrén

Jonslund, Sweden, 27 of May, 2021

During the past months our organization has gone through major upgrades, which has resulted in a stronger company, using existing resources in a more efficient way. This will benefit our customers and suppliers. We have formed an organization independent of geographical boarders to enable even more flexibility in our supply chain. We will offer leading edge, high quality solutions specially tailored to meet our customers specific needs and requirements and an experienced and skilled local support. On top of that, we will focus even more on sustainability in our production, raw material and transportation.

We have just started the journey to become the number one supplier of winding wire solutions in Europe. Our joint product line will from now on be marketed under the name Dahrén and a change of the respective company names is in the pipeline, where Dahrén Poland is already established.

From now on invoices previously sent to;

  • Dahréntråd AB should be issued to Dahrén Sweden AB.
  • LWW Śląska should be issued to Dahrén Poland Sp. Z oo

The VAT numbers will remain the same. Invoices to Isodrath will not change until further notice.

Our new joint website is dahrengroup.com

LWW Group and Elcowire Group have decided to cease the production at Isodraht GmbH in Mannheim, Germany

Jonslund, Sweden, 14 of May 2020
The volume produced at Isodraht will be relocated to the other manufacturing sites within the LWW Group and Elcowire Group in Europe. The consolidation of production capacity will enable us to strengthen our competitiveness of our core business and improve our ability to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations of quality, flexibility, and service. We are convinced that the ability to produce and deliver according to the high standards, that Isodraht’s customers are used to, will remain.

Isodraht GmbH will continue being an excellent sales company and service provider for the winding wire market. The products will continue to perform through the trademark Isodraht, and the Sales department, Customer service and Logistics will remain in Mannheim. Our customers will be in good hands also in the future, and the changed location of production will contribute to improved technology and application know-how, both related to Elcowire Group and LWW Group.

Further information will be forthcoming and directly communicated to all our stakeholders, although we think the relocation will be unnoticed in the day to day business by our customers.

Isodraht has a long history and an appreciated workforce, so to close the production in Mannheim has been a very difficult decision to take. Nevertheless, a necessary decision to ensure competitiveness going forward. A dialogue with works council at Isodraht has been initiated and we are positive to find an acceptable solution for the employees and the company. In the meantime, all efforts are put into continuing our ongoing daily business activities.

LWW Group meets increased sustainable electrification demand

Jonslund, Sweden, 31 of January 2018
The LWW Group has today started the first two of fourteen new production lines merely seven months after signing the groups single largest investment.

Following a very successful 2017 the LWW Group is continuing 2018 at a high pace completing the installation of a total of fourteen new production lines at Dahréntråd and LWW Śląska. This impressive investment is the first step in LWW:s commitment to improve and modernize our production and will soon be followed by further investments.

“With our three strong European business units; Dahréntråd in Sweden, Isodraht in Germany, LWW Śląska in Poland we’re already Europe’s leading supplier of winding wire solutions and this investment will further distinguish us.” says Patrik Brouzell, CEO of the LWW Group. “Our main objective with this investment is not merely to increase our capacity, but rather one more step in our strive for a more sustainable winding wire production. Most of our customers are pioneers for a sustainable future within their fields or even have their entire business built towards sustainability such as our partners within renewable energy. Producing the highest quality winding wire for more efficient generators, motors and transformers is our contribution to make our planet great again and this we must do with the lowest environmental impact.”

The remaining twelve new production lines are scheduled to be up and running by end of February and will make the LWW Group extremely well positioned to meet our customers’ demands with unmatched quality and flexibility.
